Steve "Pudsey" Mitten - Co-Founder
My name is Steve ‘Pudsey’ Mitten, I am 27++++ years old and I live in Southampton, Hampshire.
Having had many unexplainable experiences from a young age and then going on to work at a possibly "haunted" hotel where plenty of things seemed to happen that I couldn’t explain, It was a very easy decision to say YES PLEASE when a group of local paranormal enthusiasts called one day and asked if they could come and conduct a paranormal investigation. After this I was hooked!
After continuing to have many experiences that I just cannot explain I have since become a firm believer that GHOSTS do exist. Although I also believe that no one will ever be able to prove this whilst they are still alive!
I continued for a short while as a member of a few groups until I was very fortunate to become involved with a local fast growing organisation where I then felt very comfortable for nearly 6 years. It was during this time that Steve Hunter and myself came up with the idea of Paranormal Adventures. PA was created one day whilst sat outside a Kebab shop eating the most amazing Chicken Doner Kebab. We had this vision of creating a group where we could share our knowledge and experiences with others whilst at the same time enjoying our hobby but we would be different to many of the other bigger organisations out there in the fact we WOULDN’T make profit. I believe that everyone should have the opportunity to investigate the paranormal with a group of trusted ghost hunters but one thing I strongly disagree with is people making money out of a something that no one on this earth can say 100% really does exist.
After the initial set up of PA I had some personal issues in my life that needed to be sorted so took nearly a year out. In this time PA was brought to life by some very good friends Julie Rusby & Debbie Hickman, both came from the same previous group and both have the same vision for what Paranormal Adventures should be about.
I have now returned and very much looking forward to many more personal experiences and giving all my time and effort to ensure others experience something that they possibly would consider to be paranormal.
My favourite location has to be Tudor House in Southampton. This was my first ever ghost hunt outside the hotel and will always be remembered!
My best experience has been at Buckingham House in Old Portsmouth, A séance that went horribly wrong and I ended up being badly hurt by a very angry spirit! (yes I do believe spirits can hurt you!) I won’t tell you the whole story now but you are more than welcome to ask me on a ghost hunt!
The Most Haunted Location for me is Wymering Manor. To many weird things have happened involving Wymering that are totally unexplainable.
I am now looking forward to meeting many more people all looking for that ‘experience’ that could possibly convince them that there is something more to life than we first thought!
Steve "the Ghost" Hunter - Co-Founder
Hi - My name is Steve ‘the Ghost’ Hunter. I am one of the directors of this group and an avid follower of all things paranormal! For me I don’t just believe in the paranormal I live it and experience it. Every opportunity I get I am found running experiments in my garage or attending classes on different types of medium-ship. In short I love to learn more and more about this most fascinating of all questions, What happens after we die?
I have been involved in several paranormal groups over the years as a founder or just member. Paranormal Adventures is different and exciting in ways I couldn’t possibly get before. The gulf of experience of the members and staff combined with the list of locations was to much to resist.
When people ask if I believe in ghosts, I say I am a sceptical believer. I have had many encounters with spirit forms and believe what I have seen to be real and unexplainable. I always look for a normal mundane reason why at the same time. My area of expertise in the field lies mostly in the technology. In the past we have run many live internet ghost hunts with night vision cameras giving users at home the chance to watch the spooky goings on in our nights out. These are something I have spearheaded and delivered at a technical level.
One of my favourite experiences was in the Tudor house in Southampton. I saw a full figure of a man dressed in jeans and a check shirt walk into a room. He looked at the group of us in there and then just walked through a wall! The whole group saw this and at first didn’t believe what they saw! I look forward to going back to the Tudor house around Halloween 2011!

Julie Rusby - Senior Investigator
Hello, my name is Julie and I’ve always been intrigued by the paranormal, and regard myself as an open minded sceptic. I would dearly love to believe there is something beyond this existence, but just need that bit of ‘proof’.
For the past few years I have been an investigator with another, well known group, and believe that through being exposed to a wide array of experiences and happenings, I am now becoming more sensitive. I am not one to believe everything I see or hear and tend to try to ‘debunk’ things before I accept them as potentially paranormal. Even then, I’m still healthily cynical.
Saying that, I have experienced what I believe was genuine paranormal activity. At Buckingham House in Old Portsmouth I had a cellar door swing open with some force and crash against the wall (there were no draughts or any obvious cause for it to do this), and I actually saw my first apparition, the figure of what appeared to be an old man, a few months ago at Bursledon Brickworks near Southampton.
I am extremely excited by being involved with Paranormal Adventures from its inception and can’t wait to start investigating with the rest of my colleagues. The great thing about a passion is when you can share it with others, especially for the first time, and that’s just what Paranormal Adventures are all about...shared experiences with strangers who quickly become friends.
Debbie Hickman - Senior Investigator
My name is Debbie. I am 36 years old and during the day I am a mother of 4. But in my spare time I am busy investigating the paranormal world, I have been interested in the paranormal ever since I was a teenager and for the past 3 years have been lucky enough to be a Paranormal Investigator with other paranormal groups gaining valuable knowledge and insight in the field of Paranormal Investigations. I am always sceptical in my approach to investigating locations and always search out the logical explanation before proceeding to the paranormal. I have experienced many things in my time investigating several different haunted locations from hearing voices to seeing partly formed figures.
I believe that I am clairaudient which means at times I can hear what someone who has passed over is saying or trying to communicate using their voice and with time and experience I am looking to tune in more to my ability so I can clearly understand and control what I have.
I have knowledge and experience when using a wide range of different equipment and experiments within the ghost hunting field from Dowsing to EVP and séances plus many more. I am excited to be involved in the paranormal community and hope one day to experience some of these phenomena and spooky goings on with you soon on a paranormal adventure.
Lisa Williams - Investigator
Hi, my name is Lisa, and I'm a new trainee investigator with Paranormal Adventures. I'm looking forward to learning more and becoming more involved, and I'll soon have more to write about myself. Keep an eye out for more!
Vicki Harrington - Investigator

Diane Lewis - Investigator
